From Aug. 15 (today) through Sept. 29, Popular Community Bank employees in California are teaming up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to fight cancer.
Light The Night Walk is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) annual fundraising walk to bring hope to people battling cancer and pay tribute to lost loved ones. LLS is solely focused on people with blood cancers.
In better than 60 years, hundreds of thousands of concerned donors and participants have raised more than $250 million for LLS, which has been committed to research in the United States and ten other countries around the world.
On July 31, Popular Community Bank hosted a barbeque in Anaheim to raise funds for Light the Night as well as the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. At that event, almost $1,700 were raised through donations and at a silent auction.
Popular Community Bank currently has 27 employees registered to take part in this incredible event at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. You can see the full roster and make a donation on the team’s homepage.
