Monday Morning News: Make A Difference This Week

Last week we launched our Make A Difference Day Challenge on our Facebook wall, and so far a number of great organizations have been submitted for consideration. That contest continues until Oct. 19, so make sure to tell us why your favorite organization is worthy of a donation.

Also, if you haven’t filled out our survey from Friday already, please do. We’ll send you a $10 gift card for coffee just for answering a couple questions!

Here are a few events on our calendar for the upcoming week:

Today (Sept. 17) from 10-3 EDT, our branch on St. Nicholas Ave in New York is answering your insurance questions. Be sure to stop by this free event!

Tonight, from 5:30-7:00 PM PDT, our branch in La Mirada is hosting a retirement workshop. Stop by if you have questions.

If you’re in Chicago’s suburbs and watching football on Monday night, stop by and see The Drive Crew at Buffalo Wild Wings in either Skokie or Mt. Prospect and enter to win great prizes from us! We’re excited to be partnering with 97.1 WDRV in Chicago for these events all season!

We’ll have some of our experts available to answer questions from 9 AM until noon PDT at the Senior Health Information and Safety Fair at the La Mirada (CA) Activity Center. This is an excellent free event.

On Thursday, Sept. 20, our branch on Junction Boulevard in New York will provide information to help you plan for upcoming life events. If you have any long-term savings questions, this is a great free event between 1 and 6 PM EDT.

Friday, Sept. 21 bring a great chance to learn about credit building and repair at our branch on 116th Street in New York. Our experts will be available from 9 AM to 6 PM EDT.
