On Tuesday, January 8, Florida National University partnered with the Popular Community Bank branch in Hialeah (FL) to present educational opportunities to potential students in our area.
Leslie Urdanivia, Educational Outreach Recruiter for FNU (left) stopped by our branch to meet with prospective students.
FNU opened its doors just over 25 years ago – on January 4th, 1988 – in Hialeah. Formerly known as as Florida International Institute, the name change to Florida National University became official on March 24, 2012, after the school receiving approval by its accrediting agency to offer programs at a more advance degrees, including bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
We look forward to partnering with FNU more in the coming months to provide financial and educational opportunities to students in Florida.
