FNU opened its doors just over 25 years ago – on January 4th, 1988 – in Hialeah. Formerly known as as Florida International Institute, the name change to Florida National University¬†became official on March 24, 2012, after the school receiving approval by its accrediting agency to offer programs at a more advance degrees, including bachelor’s and master‚Äôs degrees.

We look forward to partnering with FNU more in the coming months to provide financial and educational opportunities to students in Florida.
